GARMIN GTU 10 – Social Marketing Campaign
Garmin wanted to launch their latest device, the Garmin GTU 10 with a social marketing campaign. The GTU 10 is a GPS enabled locator device for keeping the things people love safe and secure. The question is, who’s going to want one?
Everybody has something they hold dear. The one thing they just can’t bear to be without. Instead of telling people why they should want one, we invited them to tell us what’s important to them. So we created ‘Track What You Love’. A Facebook application that asks fans to tell Garmin what they love. In return, entrants would get the opportunity to win a Garmin GTU 10.
Every week our team of illustrators chose their favourite entries and turned them into personalised works of art. They were completely unique to each entrant and a few famous faces even got involved with Lord Sugar, Saracens Rugby Team, Charley Boorman and James Cracknell each sharing what they love.
So, who’s going to want to use a Garmin GTU 10? The answer is everybody, for different reasons.
