Red Funnel Mobile Booking Site
Red Funnel – the Isle of Wight ferry operator – wanted to adapt their existing booking site and make it suitable for mobile devices.
We began by assessing the overall user experience of the current booking website and based on agreed customer journeys and user experience, creating wireframes for the mobile site.
The mobile site was then designed to reflect the main Red Funnel website, but was optimised for mobile to allow users to navigate with ease. The site was then built with a ‘liquid layout’ approach. This enables the page content to flow to fill the width of the viewport. This flexible approach makes the best use of screen real estate across a wide variety of mobile devices.
