Two Lawyers. One Degree.

A new show is hitting our screens this week, Suits is a new import from the US which is based around a Law firm in New York. The story is based around the relationship between Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), who is one of the New York’s top lawyers and his hotshot associate, Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who despite having all the brains of a Harvard graduate he lacks one thing, the degree.

We’ve been asked to build awareness around Suits and Dave (The UKTV channel), with an audience that would previously have watched shows such as Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire and Entourage. To do this we are required to create intrigue and excitement around the shows launch, the creative work needs to be clever and sharp to coincide with the shows tone of voice.

By teaming up with Tribe we were able to create buzz around the show by focusing on shopping centres over Christmas. We built a ‘Suits Room’ in Westfield and Bluewater, people were able to take a break from the shopping and relax whilst watching various clips of the show. As part of this experience people could have their photo taken behind a desk, these would be uploaded straight onto the Suits on Dave Facebook page where they could ‘tag & brag’ the pictures, as you can see some people were comfy in their new surroundings.

The show launches on Dave tonight and is sure to be one of the most enjoyable and witty shows of 2012.

    Oddly I missed this and have caught up with some episodes now and it is a great show and great to get the UK audiences behind this. If you have not seen it, watch it, very clever plot and good fun.
