To the average non-developer person on the street, caring at all about the presence or absence of Flash is a fairly new experience, and it’s largely due to Apple’s decision to not allow the Adobe-owned multimedia software on the iPhone, iPod and iPad.

Last night at WWDC Apple announced something that had been rumored for the last few weeks, deep integration of Twitter into iOS 5. This is huge for the social network and for Apple as it provides all consumers with iOS devices a default social network.
